The ribbon was cut to celebrate the new village tree by Heather Wallace, whose mother Kathleen Lawrence planted the cherry tree.
The Parish Council would like to thank all the donors for their generous contributions, the residents around the green for watering the tree over the last year, and FOPS for offering the May Day event as an opportunity for the ribbon cutting.
