“Pop Up” Cafe

22 January 2025 By Sue

Did you know that Payhembury has its very own ‘Pop Up’ cafe every Thursday from 9am till 11.30 in the back of the church?

Everyone is made very welcome by our rota of volunteers who serve a variety of hot drinks, including delicious coffee made with fresh beans and frothy milk, and homemade cakes. Payment is by donation and we now accept cards. Cafe Connect was established post pandemic as a social point of contact in our community whereby regulars, newcomers, those working from home or on the school run, walkers, cyclists and friends can meet up, enjoy a drink and cake without breaking the bank. Cafe Connect is our village cafe so why not pop in and say ‘Hello’?
