Apologies for forgetting to post last month’s report – we’ll have two together to make up for it!
We continue to meet regularly in the Six Bells where we are very well looked after – many thanks Chris! We had two newcomers in February, Liz Watnough (with her sister from London) and Marian Edwards. Sadly Joy was unable to join us, but sent along her famous boiled fruit cake which was thoroughly enjoyed by all – many thanks Joy.
Many thanks also to Jan Penly for her excellent “calling” skills (even if she didn’t call my numbers!)
Once again we had a good number in March, glad to see we aren’t falling foul of whatever lurgy is around! It is nice to see Louise join us again (Ray didn’t make it this time) and she won some prizes too. Plenty of cake to keep us happy and all in all a very pleasant occasion.
