It’s summertime and the shopping is easy! We have stocked up on all sorts of summery goods from beach balls, fishing nets and crab lines for a family day at the seaside to everything you need for a barbeque in the garden. We have fresh meats, salads and bread as well as frozen desserts, lollies and ice creams including the 
locally made Otter Valley ice cream. After a hard day at work what better way to unwind than picking up a chilled bottle of rosé from the shop and enjoying it in the garden in the evening sunshine. And don’t forget we have croissants and pastries for leisurely weekend breakfasts too.
Finally a quick word about our customer accounts, these have proved a very popular way to help make your life simpler. For just £5 you will be able to buy a share in the shop and open your own account. The credit limit will normally be about £100 to start with but may be increased later if you wish. Any purchase you make in the shop can 
be added to your account and, with your agreement, your immediate family, including your children, can also use the account. Every time you put anything on your account you will be given a receipt which clearly shows what has been added and the amount of credit left. All we ask in return is that you settle your account at the end of each month. Not only is it an easy way to keep track of what you are spending on everyday items but it is also very handy when you’re out and about with no cash and you remember that pint of milk or loaf of bread or impulsive chocolate bar you meant to buy! Try doing that at the big supermarkets!
