Ken Thompson

14 August 2024 By Sue

Ken was in the village for many years and was a member of the Bowls Club from when it was in the old Parish Hall.  He lived at 12 Markers Park, next to Brian and Pat Salter. Mel, his son, sent the following message:

I wanted to let people in Payhembury know that, sadly, my father Ken Thompson passed away last month. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank people for their kind messages and support.

Mum and Dad were welcomed into the village nearly 30 years ago and enjoyed their life here and the many friends they met.

On Saturday 24th August at 3.00pm Gill and I will be having refreshments for family and friends at Ken’s home. A chance to share memories and celebrate his life.
Best wishes
Mel
