FOPs Update – 6th October

8 October 2017 By Sue

Thank you so, so much for all of the contributions given for Rev Cate’s high tea on Monday. It was an amazing spread and both Cate and the school were delighted with the afternoon. The children seemed pretty happy too; mine told me afterwards they had each had 5 sandwiches and 5 cakes but because they had eaten them alternately they thought it was OK.

What do you spend our hard-earned money on?
We’ve been asked this question a few times this term already. We’re creating a summary of our recent purchases for the school which we’ll include in next week’s update. It will also let you know what we’re fundraising for now.

Christmas Fair
I know … writing about the Christmas Fair in October isn’t cool but we wanted to mention 2 small things. Firstly the date – 2nd December 4 – 7 pm. Secondly – we are planning on having a Christmas market so if you know anybody who might like to have a stall at it please let Anita Elson or George Burton know.

Classlist
Most of our parents are now registered on Classlist, and it’s a really effective way to link together. If you aren’t on Classlist yet Anne in the office has a leaflet showing you how to do it.
