Update on proposed 6-week road closure in Colestocks:
The proposed 6-wk road closure in Colestocks to enable Western Power to connect a property has obviously been delayed by the current pandemic. In mid-June I spoke to Western Power who confirmed that they are still investigating alternative ways to avoid closing the road for such a long time. A solution had not been agreed at that time and the 6-wk road closure has not been ruled out, although it is a last resort. Hopefully a better solution will be agreed soon. Once a decision has been made, there will be a minimum of a month’s notice of any closure that is required.
