Payhembury Provisions News – July 2022

28 June 2022 By Sue

….Summertime and the livin’ is easy…

The sun is shining, the temperature is rising and it is definitely time to get your bbq and picnic basket out of storage, dusted down and ready to go. Everything you need for your outdoor feast can be found in your local shop.

Delicious Tuck Mill sausages, Veyseys’ burgers and chicken to marinade and with a selection of fresh salads and vegetables from the chiller, you can make your own delicious kebabs. We are also expecting a delivery of Slade Barton beef very soon – keep an eye on the notice board to make sure you don’t miss it.

A variety of flavours of ice cream and yummy lollies can be found in the freezers. Why not try the recent addition to our Baboo range – Elderflower Sorbet. It really is delicious. If you are planning a picnic, we offer a range of pork pies, quiches, ham, sausage rolls, olives, dips and leaves , local cheeses and crackers, crisps, and snacks. Perfect for a seaside picnic. Our wide selection of wines, beers and soft drinks is extremely popular, not forgetting our very own Yellingham apple juice too.

If you have a special outdoor event coming up, you can always place an order with our buyers for whatever you need and we will let you know when it is ready for collection. Just leave a message for Toni (meats and pies), Roy (bread, fruit and vegetables) John (wines and beers) or David (ice creams).

If you are off to the beach then why not check out our range of toys for children – buckets and spades, beach balls, fishing lines and of course bubbles!

School holidays are only a few weeks away – so make the most of the little gem in the centre of the village that is Payhembury Provisions.
