Payhembury life, community, events and information.
Last month about 40 of us got together for our now traditional Volunteers’ Supper in the Parish Hall. We had a candle-lit meal cooked by Paula, Anne and Roz (venison casserole or vegetarian goulash followed by apple crumble and custard…yum!)
We’d like to tell you about our meat supplier, K and M Butchers of Ottery. Kevin tells us that he has many customers from Payhembury so you will be well aware that he has a great selection of beautifully prepared meat, all sourced from farms in our local area. We have a meat delivery every Thursday so if there is anything you would like to order, whether it is a joint for the weekend, or something smaller, please let us know by Tuesday. You can phone on 841856 or you can pop to the shop and see what we have to offer. At the moment chicken crowns are very popular at just £3.99 but suggestions of what we should stock are always welcome. All our prices are exactly the same as in K and M Butchers in Ottery so great value for this quality of local meat.
