FOPs Update – March

25 February 2018 By Sue

Firstly a date for the diary:

Ground Force Day

It’s our first ground force day tomorrow, starting at 2pm. We’ll be concentrating on clearing the wild area in preparation for the children being able to use it later this year. Please do come along, armed with your toughest garden equipment if you can!

New Art Equipment

We’re delighted to announce the school has just taken delivery of £700 worth of art equipment! Each classroom now has its own age-specific art equipment including watercolour, acrylic and poster paints as well as tubes of paint, mixing pallets and brushes, oil and soft pastels, charcoal, metallic paints, cutting knives and mats.

FOPS has paid for all of this equipment following the massive success of the Christmas Fair. Well done to everyone who was involved in the Christmas Fair, whether that be from spending your hard earned money, to donating gifts and prizes through to helping out on the day!

Finally

We are currently planning how to make the best use of the outdoors area behind Beech Class (it’s surprisingly big!) and also how to update the Peace Garden. We’ll let you know more about these plans as soon as we can.
