Consultation on Support for Community Groups

Dear East Devon Town and Parish Councils,

Please send out this opportunity to all the voluntary, community and social enterprise groups in your town/parish. This could be by email, newsletter, on your social media, through your Councillors etc.

We’re looking into putting some overarching support in place for East Devon’s fantastic voluntary, community and social enterprise groups. This support would be based on what the groups themselves want, and could do things like:

·         Help them find funding

·         Help them work together, with all the benefits that brings

·         Give them guidance on the law and regulations

·         Give them support with recruiting and managing volunteers

We’re running this consultation to get any feedback from the groups on what this provision could be.
