We had our July meeting in the Function Room at the Six Bells and very nice it was too with the lovely patio area they now have outside. If you haven’t seen it I would recommend a look – while clutching your pint!
We had a few teething problems with the new tickets, but soon settled down and although our numbers were a bit low (anything to do with Andy Murray being on at Wimbledon?) there were enough of us to tackle the cakes.
I think “honours” were even with the winners being nicely spread and even people who couldn’t be there, but still bought their tickets, managed to win.
